  • Citizens Advice provides some information if you’re being bullied or harassed at work
  • The Samaritans provide emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Call 116 123, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Togetherall is a free and confidential service that's available for all staff and students at South Lanarkshire College.  It provides 24/7 mental health support from trained professionals.  Visit their website and register under 'I'm from a University or College' to access their online courses and support services.
  • Breathing Space offer a free and confidential phone and web-based service for people experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety.  Call 0800 83 85 87 to speak with a trained advisor.
  • SAMH is a community-based service offering support, training and recovery for those experiencing mental health problems, addictions, homelessness and other forms of social exclusion.  Contact them at 0141 530 1000.
  • Chris's House is a centre for help, response and intervention surrounding suicide.  They provide 24-hour non-medical crisis care in Scotland.  Call 0126 766755 to speak with them.
  • Elament provides online resources for mental health and wellbeing, including self-help booklets to understand concerns and learn new ways of dealing with them. 
  • Scottish Women's Aid provides support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Call them on 0800 027 1234 to speak with a trained member of staff or visit their website for information about the support they can provide. 
  • Women's Aid South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire support women, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse within the South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire areas.  Contact them at 01355 249897 or email info@wasler.org.uk 
  • Shakti Women's Aid provide help for black minority ethnic (BME) women, children and young people who are experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic abuse.  Call them on 0131 475 2399 for further advice and support. 
  • Rape Crisis Scotland offer a national helpline to provide support and information open daily from 5pm until midnight, 365 days a year.  Call them on 08088 01 03 02 for support or email support@rapecrisisscotland.org.uk.
  • Lanarkshire Rape Crisis deliver emotional, practical and justice advocacy support to women and girls who have been subjected to any form of sexual violence no matter how long ago it happened.  They also offer individual crisis support and advocacy services to all survivors.  Call them on 01698 527003 or email support@lanrcc.org.uk for further advice.
  • AMIS Abused Men in Scotland is Scotland's leading charity and helpline for male domestic abuse.  Call them on 03300 949 395 Mon to Fri from 9am to 4pm for advice and support.
  • Survivors UK provide a national online helpline, individual and group counselling for boys, men and non-binary people who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives.   Visit their website for more information on the support available.
  • Police Scotland are available in an emergency by dialling 999 or call 101 for non-emergencies.  If you are unable to speak to an emergency operator, you can use the 'silent solution' system by pressing 55 when prompted on your phone to alert the police.
  • LGBT Youth Scotland are Scotland's national charity for LGBTI young people.   Visit their website for further information on the different support services they can provide. 
  • Galop is a charity that supports lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people affected by sexual and domestic violence. 
  • Stop Hate UK offer support to victims of hate crime
  • Mermaids have been helping gender-diverse kids, young people and their families since 1995
  • Changing Faces is the UK’s leading charity for everyone with a scar, mark or condition on their face or body that makes them look different.
  • Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability.
  • Deaf Plus offer a wide range of services to our clients to develop their potential and promote independence and wellbeing.
