Letting us know you need help is perfectly normal and we believe everyone should be able to talk freely about their mental health and wellbeing.
If you’re worried about your mental health and wellbeing there are a number of things you can do:
- Talk
- Report
- Get support
Talk -
If there’s a friend or family member that you can trust, talking things through with them can sometimes help.
You can also reach out to our Guidance and Support team for a confidential chat. To speak with an Advisor then visit the Advice Centre on the Ground Floor or email student.support@slc.ac.uk and a member of the team will arrange an appointment for you.
If you are in immediate danger or seriously injured, you can call 999 (or 112 from a mobile).
Report -
You can make a disclosure which will allow us to investigate mental wellbeing concerns and provide an outcome update if full details are provided.
Get support -
If you want to talk to someone about accessing support please contact an advisor or visit the College's dedicated Mental Health and Wellbeing Support Page.
